The focus of our Shared Leadership Team is to provide direction and assistance to the development and support of the principal and his or her school leadership team in meeting the challenges of this new, 21st Century educational environment.
Our Shared Leadership objectives are as follows:
- Create and sustain significant school-level improvements in the performance of principals, assistant principals and school leadership teams
- Further integration of key methods, skills, knowledge and tools that drive student performance and school achievement
- Creation of a viable leadership supply model that will provide for the ongoing and future leadership needs of the school/district
SLI will provide high quality, job-embedded training and support for each principal and school team based on the very latest research and standards, building and developing the core competencies with each school that will drive performance.
The professional development provided by SLI’s Shared Leadership Team will be a variety of proven and tested workshops that will engage and energize the leadership teams and reinforce the objectives of the training. Topics include, but are not limited to, Effective Communication, Strategic Planning, Using Data to Facilitate Change, Finding the Best Teachers and Improving Curriculum and Instruction.
